The novel follows the life of a clinically depressed teenager, Craig Gilner. I would recommend this volume to an older, high school-aged audience considering of the sexuality, and the mature problems discussed in the book. The narrative voice of Craig sounded very 18-carat and real; however, it can exist a fleck difficult to read the raw details of his depression.
The volume was a flake was too boring paced for my liking at the beginning, when he was describing his low and childhood.
